"Einstein's Map of the Universe" - Daily Deviation Feature
I bet if Albert Einstein would live today as an artist, he would be a master of Fractal Art. Our very own resident master of the mathematical arts, `TomWilcox, pays tribute to the old genius and delights us with the mind-boggling Einsteins Map of the Universe. So very complex in its composition, the patterns and color palette are simply breathtaking and will be the ultimate eye catcher on your wall! (Featured by $spinegrinder)

Here's what they said:
"The Heart Series" - Daily Deviation Feature
When browsing Fractal Art in our Prints Shop, you will come across a series of uniquely eye-catching hearts by our resident fractal scientist and mad professor `TomWilcox. Each of them has its very own appeal due to the complexity, shapes, immense color vibrancy and not to forget the warm fuzzy feeling they give, which makes it really hard to decide which one to pick. But Tom wouldn't be Tom if he didn't think of that. That's why he made The Heart Series, a composition of all 12 individual hearts in one astonishing poster.

Here's what they said:
"HIROSHIMA" - Daily Deviation Feature
Many times when people view fractal art, or create fractal art, they think in sheer aesthetic terms. "Will this look good? Will it be pleasing to the eye?" But every now and then, someone comes along and changes the rules. *TomWilcox is one of those people. Hiroshima Combines brilliant visuals and color, he captures a theme that is not easy to tackle in any style. Take a moment to look and reflect on this piece, and then take a look at his whole gallery. It redefines what can be done with the genre. You have awesome stuff.
Haven't found anyone that can produce the quality images that you do. I'm just beginning to get comfortable with APO and was wondering if you had considered some type of tutorial? If not on the specifics, maybe your creative approach?
BTW - I've lived in Mequon, Ft Atkinson, and Madison. Been through Watertown many times. Kinda miss those Friday night fish frys!
Scott
Funny, I just had a CD cover photo shoot in Watertown a couple of weeks ago. I live in Waterford though - about 20 miles southwest of Milwaukee.
It would be hard for me to do a tutorial. I will send you a few parameters though. Check your "Notes".
Best regards,
Tom
