You're my music girl,
With the lyrics of life;
Teaching me tunes
About sorrow and strife.

Under the stars;
You show me Venus
And I'll show you Mars.

With the music of life,
That cuts through the air
Like the blade of a knife.

Petty and Dylan,
And all of the rest,
Sing you the songs
When you're feeling depressed.

Under the moon;
Sing me the lyrics,
Teach me the tune.

Higher than high,
Lower than low;
I feel your music
Wherever I go.

When you need a friend
In the middle of the night,
I'll play you the song
That'll make you alright.

MusicAs I turned the music on,
Lyrics ran in my head.
For them few minutes of that song,
I forgot I wanted to be dead.

Sifting into my soul,
The song is on repeat.
These words make me whole,
They will not take defeat.

Music is all I live for,
Lyrics is all I crave.
If only they were the words of a friend,
Maybe then I can be saved.

...Of Music...The music flowed over her like a waterfall
No stopping its powerful embrace.
Scared, excited, passionately swept,
No telling if the chills would dissipate.
Praying no one would find her in
This euphorically blissful state,
She embraced the music flowing through
Her soul, her blood, as her young heart raced.

Music

Music,
Like love and lust, has roots in the soul.
You drive me mad with your A notes,
Making me wild like a staff with no lines.
Kisses placed randomly on paper as notes turn into high screams and low moans.

Love,
Like anger flows through my veins and burns me,
So does the fire produced by every key you hit.
Taking me higher into a world where there is no dissonance,
And every sound, from every voice, melts into one word:

Lust,
Dances to the sound produced as sweat drips tenderly off your skin.
Hands roaming gently; our hearts the bass, beat, and background.
Hit that note for me, touch me where everything makes sense and I becom

Music

The conductor lifts her hands
I lift my horn
She gives the count in . . .
Boom

I can feel my fingers flow
Over the keys with ease
I can feel the music flowing through me
The notes soaring above my head

I hear the others around me
Our sound is as one
You can sense the feeling
Each player giving their all

As I play I feel the energy
The more I play the more my heart rises
The feeling of my soul
Pouring out with every note

No other sound is more beautiful
No other feeling can compare
Every note tells the audience
"I love to play"

I sense the climax is coming
I build up my energy inside
I prepare my mind
Here it comes

Music is me
Music is life
Music is what I need to survive

Music is meaning
Music is time
Music is the thing that makes me shine
Music must have meaning
Music ust have rhyme
Its a dialect we all need form time to time

Most people dont understand
What music is to me
But then they cant see
My music is what makes me,
Me
Without my music I am a souless being

Please people please, listen to me
That I need msuic,
You see?

I dont want to annoy them or be mean
All I want to do
Is sing

Music keeps me focused
And in time
Im listening to msuic as I write to you this rhyme

Or on the speaker
The meaning

MusicMusic is my life
Music is my soul
Music surrounds me everyday
Filling my heart with rock 'n' roll

I love the sound of guitars
Of violins echoing through the hall
I love the beat of the drums
And the sound of the bass's call

I dream of voices singing
Strings here and there
I dream of keyboards playing
Music dancing through the air

To be without music
Is to live a terrible lie
To live without music would be torture
I would honestly rather die

A little boy asked me that today.
I bent down so that our faces were level
And then I said to him with a smile,
‘Why do you care?
Out of so many people today
Why do you care?’
He looked back at me
His eyes too thoughtful for his age
And he said right back to me,
‘Because I want to make good music.’
I liked that answer, and I told him so.
He was happy and he smiled.
‘Take my hand,’ I said, ‘and walk with me now
And I will show you those things that proper music make.’

A girl with silky, platinum, elbow-length, pigtailed hair spoke to a girl with bouncy, rose-dyed, waist-length, double-braided hair. Both of their eyes were obscured by rosy pink contact lens, both of them had light skin throughout, and both of them worse maid outfits with a sky-like theme: blue as the main color, white as the secondary color, and gray and pink as accent colors: gray for the blonde and pink for the rosette. (A rosette is someone with pink hair.)

You can feel it in your veins. Pure,undiluted adrenaline. That first note, the first kick of the drum.

Its better than drugs,better than sex...better than both.

Its feeling weightless with your feet firmly planted.The guitar has a certain power that plays along your skin with an almost metaphysical force.Its even more profound when its really loud, and through headphones.

No interruptions,no stopping.Just you and the music. The words you know by heart.Bound together with a a voice thats full of power and grit.The singer feels every word,passionate enough to scream it in your face.It all builds slowly,like you are walking towards a

First Goodbye

"I don't want you anymore" was the cry.
"Good!" I screamed.

Our first goodbye.

"I'll leave, move out, and never come back.
I'm serious you know."

Like a heart attack.

"I know you are" to silent surprise.

Words hurled with anger,
now no more lies.

A slowly dying masterpiece
of life and care
will have to cease.
Strangled by the unkind word.
The steely glance.
The voice unheard.

The love
The pain
All the passion
Fade away in just this fashion.
Not in chunks of anger and hate.
But in small spoonfuls
We create.

A new beginnings ending starts.
A softly rising horizon parts.

Music Girl

Let the music rescue you;
Flight for life when you’re feeling blue.
On the dark side of the rainbow,
Black’s the only hue.

Take a supernatural starship
To the heavens up above.
Through a lipstick sunset
With the person that you love.

Your music is what carries you
To another place in time;
No one seems to understand,
It’s the lyrics not the rhyme.

Share with me your loneliness,
I’ll help you if I can.
If only I were there with you.
I’d be your Music Man.

Hi Cassandra,

I am currently discussing with another party the possibility of them writing music to one or both of these so unfortunately I must say no. I wouldn't want two pieces of music to the same poem(s). I see you just joined DeviantART today. I have had bad experiences with unknown people that have only been on DeviantART a few days making requests for my art. In most cases there is no problem, but it has happened occasionally.

It always pains me to say no - I'm sorry. DeviantART has many great poems though; I would check out these. I'm sure you will find something you will like.
