Yes, a great concept that is well-executed. Perhaps a series of these works would be a good idea? Very, very nice. I'd love to see a handful of works like this, with more involved backgrounds, perhaps one rendering laid over another. Bravo!

Thanks, one of the more realistic, photographic appearing images I've done. :-)

Thanks very much Dennis. One of my personal Favorites too. It is probably the most "photographic" of all my work. Glad you appreciate it. I am working on what I think will be one of my best pieces. Will take about 5 days to make, then I will post it. A galaxy piece but very smooth. Titled "Beyond". :-)

It's always a pleasure to see how people make things from this medium [fractal programs]. Yes, creating and render time really takes time. Your welcome Tom! :)

this pic looks so wicked....dangerous....and poisonous....fantastic work of art. The squigly lines also reminds me of these visualizations in WinAmp...like they got paused or something...and they also remind of of laser lights in clubs....damn far better than laser lights tho :D

Keep up the good work.

Thanks sooooo much! Yeah, it's been approved for prints to 20x30" size. The print image is 3500x5250 pixels. DeviantPrints does an outstanding job. Their quality is AWESOME! I'm in the process of matting and framing 7 20x30" prints of mine. :-)

Thanks again and thanks to Jeff.

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your comments. Actually I had to redo it because I had previously used "Sea Creature" as a title so changed the title to the present. :-) I'm really glad you like it because it is one of my personal favorites. Seems there is always something that I'm not 100% satisfied with in an image I submit but this one I am. :-)

Absolutely stunning, looks so real. One of my aims with apo is to generate a jellyfish or a fantastic creature of the deep. You did it. Great.

Beautiful piece Tom. I always wonder what's down there in the deep depths of the oceans... I hope someday I can find out. It's so black down there... so dark and so much serenity in your own thoughts. I can only imagine what 20 safe hours down there alone would bring me to, what conclusions of life and all the aspects of reality; thus my own reality, as distorted as it may seem. Wonderful work Tom.

Yeah me too... unless I had "safe " time there... like with a 50 foot steel ball surrounding me, and or maybe glass strong enough to withstand the pressure down there. Big things in murky water scare the hell outta me. I don't think yer alone.

Beautiful... like the 3-D look of it, and the colors go well with the name.
A little small...? I'd love to see this one closer up =)

Thanks! I think you viewed at the smaller size. Try doing a full view ; the image is 800x1200 pixels in size; a decent size image. I'm curious; please let me know if that was it.

I think I did just view it at the smaller size. Although this is definitely one I would want to zoom in on, just to look at the complexity of it =)

Hi Laura :-)

Thanks for your great remarks and for the Fav. It's funny, I had all the images (print, etc.) all done and when I went to submit it kept rejecting it. Turns out I had a previous image of the same name. Am I getting senile. Oh, I ment to ask, am I getting senile? :-)

This is absolutely beautiful. Its hard to belive its actually a generated image. Looks like somthing that you would definately find at the bottom of the Atlantic. The flow and smoothness of the tenticals rendered nicely, and in contrast with the redish orange tint that surounds the creature adds a deepining depth effect to the overall image. My favorite part is the center which is reminicent of a perl colored sea shell.

I am still waiting on a good tutorial from you on how to really tweak this program. ;)
