Da first time I took lithium, I couldn't hold it down. I aint talkin' bout chicken n' gravy biatch. Right back up in yo muthafuckin ass. So I locked tha bathroom door n' flushed tha entire forty.
Da second time, I couldn't strutt mo' than ten steps without falling.
Honestly, I be just wonderin why they bust poison ta purify mah dirty ass.
2. I be afraid of tha ocean.
I be afraid of lookin down one day, n' not seein tha edges. Of there bein not a god damn thang there.
I be afraid of fallin n' havin not a god damn thang ta
of broken hearts and magic.tonight, the stars look less like stars and more like the giant balls of gas people have been telling me they are.

tonight, i cannot find the constellations that i used to call my friends.

tonight, the ocean is a little less mysterious and a little more salty.

tonight i am wishing i knew nothing of magic because this would hurt a little less. i could chalk it up to chemicals and scoff at the idea of a broken heart.

i could leave it at let's be friends [or casual acquaintances] and never worry about what will happen if i run into you at the park.

but i know everything of magic and i felt it in my soul when i was with you and that i cannot
Dear Chocolate-Lover Dear...

The sunlight is falling in lines across my bedroom floor as I twist my pen across my fingers, trying to decide what words to write to you. Normally it would never have occurred to me to write you a letter, but thanks to the internet and a friend, the idea has been planted firmly in my brain, and it refuses to vacate the premises until I have successfully put pen to paper.

As we both know, letter-writing seems to be a dying art - particularly those that are handwritten. I remember the day(s) that you waxed poetic on the sorrows of the loss of non-typed correspondence, and wished that more people would write and post letters to each

Amazing words dear. Cannot agree more and I do see some random 'awakenings' but I feel these are being counter-balanced by other factors. Result? More and more excuses to go to more wars !!! Even if things improve here, some thing happens over there which may or may not force people here to go again to war over there! Iterations???

Not about America but rather all people in the world and all politicians in the world including those that are being thrown out on the street. The people finally have taken a stand. The finger points to all of us. I see from your DA homepage shows that you live in America. :-)
